The Porter-Cable 4,500-watt 9 HP portable generator is a long-life unit, featuring a Honda commercial engine with overhead valves, cast-iron sleeves, low oil shutdown and a low-tone muffler. The industrial-quality "brushless" alternator features ball-bearing construction for longer life and requires less maintenance than cheaper brush designs. This unit has a 4-gallon fuel tank, which provides 10.6 hours of run time at half load and 5.2 hours of run time at full load between fills. Its wheel kit and fully-welded frame make transportation easier, and its compact size makes it easy to store; it measures 29-by-27-by-28-inches. The generator provides "clean" energy suitable for powering radios, televisions, computers, and other sensitive equipment. It includes 12 VDC, two GFCI 120 VAC duplex outlet, 120 VAC twistlock outlet, and 120/240 VAC twistlock outlet.
